I got to ride in a Hupmobile once.

I was working at a local historical park and a group of them drove in wanting to take pictures. We let them, and one of the owners took me for a ride around the block in his car.

Don’t remember what year, but these were all early ones; open wheels, spares next to the engine - I’d guess mid 19-teens.

Cool cars. Very rare now.

That’s total dream car status right there. As much as I love Hupmobile, few can be compared to Cadillacs or Packards of the era. That one can. It's literally everything I've ever wanted in a car. 8cyls, Hupmobile, jazz age, limo.
